About Me
I am a young 50 something who has brought up 2 children of my own . When my son was 7 I took a job as a teaching assistant in a local school , I stayed in this role until 2015 when I left and became manager of an after school club and part time learning support assistant soon adding morning club worker to my role.
In 2018 one of the families that that used the after school club required a nanny for their then 10 month old 4 year old and 7 year old. I thought that I would really enjoy this role and was successful in my application. I have throughly enjoyed my time with this
My Experience
I have two grown up children and also cared for my nephews and nieces at various times when family were working , I now have two wonderful Grandchildren who I love to spend time with .
I worked as a teaching assistant/learning support assistant from 2000 until 2018 from 2015 to 2018 I worked as after school club manager and morning club assistant .From September 2018 I became a Nanny for three wonderful girls.
2020 - present
I have been employed by my current family for three happy years, looking after two children both school age , my role includes : school picks , taking to after school activities, helping with homework, preparing healthy home cooked meals , craft and games . Very sadly they are being posted abroad ,which means I will be available from January 2024.

NVQ 2 teaching assistant, Introduction Childminding practice,RSA 1 typing,Word processing, health and hygiene, Paediatric first aid , epi pen training ,Accelerated Learning (Brain training) ,Dr Edward de Bono’s six thinking hats, jump ahead training, Adult Literacy level 2 QCA , National autistic society early bird plus programme, Using questions, Surrey safeguarding, Support for learning primary teaching assistants, Managing behaviour, Circle time, Working with other, Supporting numeracy, How children learn. This is just a few of the many I have completed during my time as a teaching assistant.
