My Summary
Dedicated, Creative, And Experienced Nanny Available
About Me
I am a creative and experienced nanny with nearly five years of childcare experience in nurseries and private families, caring for children from around eight months through to early years. More than anything, I love bringing imagination into everyday life, whether that's setting up outdoor art clubs, turning a walk in the park into a hunt for tigers and polar bears, or encouraging role play that helps children explore new ideas and feelings.
I also enjoy weaving creativity into meals, introducing children to new ingredients through fun, healthy recipes made from scratch, so food becomes both nourishing and exciting. Reading is another big part of my approach, and I make regular library trips with children to help them develop a lifelong love for books.
Music and culture are equally important. I share songs and nursery rhymes from my Brazilian heritage alongside English ones, giving children joyful exposure to another language. With my background in nurseries, I am confident in supporting milestones, planning age appropriate activities, and maintaining clear communication with families.
Above all, I aim to create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where children feel cared for, inspired, and free to be themselves. I am currently studying full time at university and am seeking part time work with a family. My availability includes Thursdays and Fridays (full days), Wednesdays (from 15:00 onwards), and Mondays (from 16:00 onwards). I am looking for between 17 to 25 hours per week and am also open to nanny share arrangements.
My Experience
Part-time Nanny – Private Family, Shooters Hill, London (December 2025 – Present)
Currently providing attentive care for two children aged 2.5 and 5 years, supporting daily routines, nursery and school drop offs and pick ups, and planning engaging, age appropriate educational and outdoor activities. I prepare simple, healthy meals while carefully managing food allergies including egg and sesame, encourage positive behaviour, and maintain a calm, organised environment. I communicate openly with parents and support the children's emotional wellbeing and social development as they grow.
Full-time Nanny – Private Family, Peckham, London (January 2025 – October 2025)
Worked as a full time nanny for a 21 month old child, providing sole charge care in a warm, consistent home environment. Responsibilities included preparing balanced meals from scratch, implementing clear but flexible routines, and supporting toilet training with patience and encouragement. I planned age appropriate activities such as baking, music time, arts and crafts, sensory play, and story based learning, and I regularly attended local classes and playgroups to support social skills and confidence. I kept parents informed through daily chats and updates and adapted my approach as the child's needs and personality developed.
Full-time Nanny – Private Family, Greenwich, London (August 2023 – December 2024)
Provided sole charge care for a baby from 1.5 months old, creating a calm, responsive and nurturing environment. My responsibilities included managing feeds and naps, introducing sensory play, music and stories, and attending baby classes that supported early development and socialisation. I prepared fresh baby led weaning meals with a variety of textures and flavours and closely supported each new milestone with age appropriate activities. I built strong trust with the family by being reliable, attentive and flexible, and by tailoring routines as the baby grew and their needs changed.
Nursery Practitioner – Little Cubs Academy (February 2023 – July 2023)
Collaborated with a team to care for children aged 1 to 5 in a busy nursery setting, always focusing on safety, warmth and consistency. Planned and delivered activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, supporting physical development, early learning and emotional literacy through play. My daily responsibilities included nappy changes, support with potty training, managing group transitions and documenting learning outcomes for key children. I kept parents informed with regular updates and helped to create a welcoming environment where children felt secure and confident.
Nursery Practitioner – Monkey Puzzle (January 2022 – December 2022)
Led a key group of children and took responsibility for planning their daily activities and experiences in the nursery. I designed simple, engaging activities that supported communication, confidence and creativity, and I observed and recorded developmental progress to share with families and the wider team. I supported mealtimes and hygiene routines in a calm and positive way and made sure the room felt safe, nurturing and inclusive for every child. I built strong relationships with children and parents and consistently followed safeguarding procedures and policies.
Full-time Nanny – Private Family, Greenwich (November 2020 – July 2021)
Cared for a 3 year old child, supporting daily routines, emotional development and playful learning. I organised simple themed weeks that introduced different cultures, foods and traditions in an age appropriate way. I used cooking, stories and creative play to make learning enjoyable and meaningful, and I regularly arranged playdates to build social skills and confidence. I encouraged independence in small everyday tasks and helped the child recognise and name their feelings, which supported self esteem and resilience.
Full-time Nanny – Private Family, São Paulo (March 2018 – October 2019)
Provided full time care for a 2.5 year old child, managing the daily routine in a stable and caring home environment. I planned and prepared meals, organised simple enrichment activities at home, and arranged outings that encouraged curiosity and active learning. I supported the child's growing independence with gentle guidance and clear boundaries and encouraged respectful communication and kindness in everyday interactions.
