About Me
I have been a in a network of childminders in seaham since 2003 ,i am originally from seaham and I grew up here .i am regularly inspected by OFSTED within my homebased setting, i was awarded a good on my last inspection .i also have regular training with durham county to keep me upto date with my knowledge and developmenti within the childrens care sector.i attend various playgroups within seaham. the children which i care for are taken on outings such as visits to the local parks, beach , libraries and occasionally museums and farms etc .
i offer various play experiences within my home such as role play, computer games, reading , cooking , outdoor play board games , crafts. etc. You will also find details about my setting on other sites such as yell and families info service for durham.
I am registered for 9 months 2,3 and 4 year olds FUNDED 15 /30 hour government paid placements ask on enquiry
My Experience
I have had experience as a childminder in seaham since 2003, during these years i have cared for a variety of different age groups ranging from birth onwards. All the children which i care for are classed as individuals and i like to work alongside parents to make sure the best possible care is given to each child, i pride myself with care for babies and young children , by making sure that they are safe and secure within and outside my home environment , and i strive to help each child develop to the best of their ability. I also take younger children to playgroups on a daily basis , which I feel helps children socialise and become independent within different settings .
I give children of all age groups the attention and care they deserve ,and I have a strong bond with each and everyone of them within my care.

My Qualifications
OFSTED registered
I have 10 GCSE grades including English Maths and Science.
NVQ level 3 diploma in Homebased Childcare.
NVQ level 3 in Childrens Learning And Development
First aid for babies and children
Safeguarding
CRB checked
I also hold certificates in baby massage, managing childrens behaviour, food hygiene . along with various others .
My Availability
I will have availability for early years children from september2025 ask on enquiry
I work in the seaham area.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Full day sessions
mon-thurs hours between 7.30am - 5.30pm
£5 per hour based on a minimum of 7 hours per day
£5 per day consumables
Inc breakfast , snacks , lunch and light evening meal , also playgroup entrance fees where applicable
Term time only contracts available at a different rate ( ask on enquiry)
Meals , snacks and playgroups are included within these pricings ( not including baby milk and baby food )
TAX CREDITS UNIVERSAL CREDITS are taken in my setting
Available for FUNDED 15 hours government 9 month, 2 year olds FUNDED play and learn scheme (enquiries can be made through myself )
Also available for 3-4 year olds 15 /30 hour free nursery placements , hours for this option can be shared between your chosen nursery and myself ( ask on enquiry)·

Teri has minded all 3 of my children at various different stages of their lives (from 2017 to 2022). They have each developed a beautiful relationship with her and her family and thrived while in her care. Teri provides a nurturing environment with lots of opportunities for the little ones to learn and develop their key foundation stage skills. 100% recommend.

My daughter has been with Teri since she was 8 month old and has just left as she’s starting nursery. My daughter loves Teri and the rest of the family. My daughter has come on so much while she’s been with Teri and I know she’s in great hands. Teri is flexible and always goes out of her way to accommodate us. I couldn’t have asked for a better childminder and my daughter and I are genuinely gutted to be leaving Teri. Her family has become a part of ours and I know we’ll stay in touch xx

Teri is the best childminder you could ever wish for. Leaving your child with someone other than family while your at work is such a big deal, but Teri just becomes a part of your child’s family from day 1. She isn’t simply a babysitter she does loads with all of the kids and our daughter came on so well in her time with her.
I honestly could not recommend Teri any more highly, we have complete trust in her and I suppose the proof is in the fact that our daughter absolutely loves her and the rest of her family as well.
If you choose Teri to look after your little ones you will not be disappointed
