After School Nanny Job In Patcham

About Me
We are a family of four living in Patcham. I work four days a week, a mixture of at home and commuting to Reading. My husband also works from home part of the week and is in Oxford for the rest of the time.
We have two children, a six year old girl and a four old boy. Our daughter is a sweet, slightly shy child who is very chatty and interested once she gets used to you. She loves being outdoors and running around but also has an enthusiasm for arts and crafts, puzzles, ballet and swimming. Our son is a smiley happy boy, quiet and happy in his own company. He’s just started school and is very young for his year. He loves building things, his marble runs or train tracks, Guinea pigs (we don’t have any), arts and crafts and swimming.
My Requirements
To start in mid January. We are looking for a part-time nanny for two after school sessions a week, ideally Tuesday and Wednesday (but could be Monday) 2.45 - 6pm. So, 6.5 hours.
We would ideally like someone with a sense of fun, who can see the different needs of our kids, would enjoy giving them plenty of outdoor time but also recognise when they need to come home and chill.
You should not mind that there will generally be someone working from home, however, our house is fairly large and the downstairs will be primarily for you and the children.

Danielle has worked for us since 9/5/22, looking after our now 3 year old son for 3 days a week and our now 5 year old daughter around school hours on those days. In that time she has become part of the family and we will be so sad to lose her when our son goes to school in September.
We cannot speak highly enough of Danielle, who is the second nanny we've had. Danielle has created a strong and loving bond with our children, both of whom respond to her gentle but firm approach. Danielle has understood the very differing needs of our children and been able to support their development through play, trips around Brighton and attending classes.
Danielle is hugely creative in the games she creates, offers a masterclass in how to survive messy play and seems to somehow cram more into the day than we ever could. We value hugely Danielle's advice as to our children's development and how to approach some of the trickier parenting conundrums.
We lucked out having Danielle as our nanny and have no hesitation in recommending her. We would be happy to provide further information or speak with any potential employers.
