My Requirements
The family have three children:
• G5
• G3
• B8months (in full-time nursery, so the main focus is the girls although if more hours are preferred parents would consider reducing nursery hours)
Both girls attend nearby pre-school and primary school and love after-school clubs, playdates, imaginative play, arts and crafts, musical theatre, reading stories together and putting on shows! They are confident, kind, well-mannered and very close. The children are screen-free, and good manners and kindness are really important to the parents.
Hours:
• Ideally 1–7pm, Monday–Friday (around 30 hours per week)
• The family can be flexible on the hours and offer increased hours in school holidays and regular babysitting, if interested.
- Start date would be March 2026 to allow a smooth handover although could consider earlier or later for the right person.
The role includes:
• After-school care for G3 and G5
• Daily homework support, clubs and organising play dates
• Keeping routines running smoothly- encouraging independence.
• Getting the baby ready for bed after nursery
• Nursery duties while the girls are at school
The family would love someone who:
- Is looking for long term commitment to a family
• Autonomous and likes responsibility
- Is a confident cook (healthy, home-cooked meals and some batch cooking)
• Is proactive, organised and uses initiative. The family will expect meal planning, calendar organising and shopping for the children.
• Is confident setting boundaries while remaining warm and kind.
• Has a professional background in child development/childcare.
• First language or entirely fluent in spoken and written English
• Occasional travel with the family in the UK (and abroad if of interest)
No driving required
Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid essential
