My Summary
Ofsted Registered Childminder With One Place Becoming Available In January
About Me
Hello! I’m a proud mum to a wonderful 14-year-old boy and our much-loved French Bulldog, Sandy.
I have extensive experience caring for children, having grown up in a family of childminders and foster carers. With five siblings and many nieces and nephews — including twins — I’ve spent my life surrounded by children of all ages and understand how to create a nurturing, engaging environment.
We’re an active family who loves spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and getting creative with arts and crafts. My background as a florist and former shop owner means I particularly enjoy sharing creative projects with children.
As Merlin Pass holders, we often enjoy day trips to attractions, parks, and zoos, as well as time spent at local commons and playgrounds.
I offer a warm, home-from-home experience where children can feel safe, happy, and inspired — with plenty of fun along the way
My Experience
Caring for children has always been a huge part of my life — both personally and professionally.
Before becoming Ofsted registered, I gained many years of childcare experience through a variety of roles. I worked as a private nanny, provided informal childminding, and spent time as a foster carer throughout the lockdown period — a role that deepened my understanding of children’s individual needs and the importance of creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
Since becoming Ofsted registered, I’ve had the privilege of caring for many children in my home, including those with special circumstances (SEN) and twins. My approach is all about providing a warm, home-from-home setting where children can thrive, feel valued, and have fun while learning through play and exploration.
Creativity is also a big part of who I am. Before working in childcare full-time, I owned and managed my own flower shop as a fully qualified florist for many years. This love of creativity naturally extends to my childcare — we spend lots of time doing arts and crafts, exploring nature, and encouraging imagination.
As a family, we enjoy being outdoors, exploring local parks, zoos, and attractions — we’re Merlin Pass holders, so adventure and discovery are a big part of what we do.
I take pride in offering a professional, reliable, and caring service that truly feels like a second home for the children I look after

My daughter joined Keeley's care when she was 15 months old and has just left to start nursery in September.
My daughter has Downs Syndrome so had additional needs from Day 1. Keeley welcomed her in and immediately went about researching SEN support from the local borough to ensure that her and my daughter had all the tools and support they both needed in place in order to thrive.
Since being with Keeley my daughters development has come along in leaps and bounds. Social interaction, confidence, physical and behavioral development has improved tremendously and its been lovely to see! Thank you Keeley!

Thank you Candice means so much, been an absolute pleasure working with you, I adore Scarlett and know she will go on to achieve so much more 🥰
My daughter has been in Keeley’s care for the past 1.5 years - starting in full time care and now doing afterschool pickup and wraparound care. She has been absolutely amazing - caring, attentive, and full of warmth. We all know how unpredictable life can be, this is why we love how flexible she can be which has really helped us working parents out a lot. Keeley goes above and beyond every day, creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where my daughter has grown and learnt so much. It’s clear how much love and dedication she puts into her work, and most importantly - my daughter absolutely adores her!
