My Summary
About Me
Hi my name is Lisa, I am an experienced and caring mother of 4, one teenager and three young adults, with a strong understanding of children’s needs at every stage of development. I am a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, first aid trained, and happy to complete a full DBS check. I'm Kind, patient, and empathetic by nature, I provide a calm, supportive environment where children can feel safe, nurtured, and encouraged to grow. I am active, enjoy the outdoors, and believe in the importance of structure and positive support to help children thrive.
My Experience
I have extensive experience caring for children from infancy through to preschool age. I spent five years working at St Andrews Pre-School with children aged 2–4, supporting their development in line with the EYFS and working closely with children with communication needs and additional learning difficulties.
I also nannied for a family for over three years, caring for their children from 8 months and later younger sister from 3 months old, providing loving, consistent care and supporting mum as she returned to work. As a mother of four grown children, I bring a calm, nurturing, and reliable approach, shaped by both professional experience and family life.
