About Me

I have over 20 years of experience as both a professional nanny and private tutor, I offer a unique blend of compassionate care, educational support, and household reliability. I have worked in private homes, nurseries, primary schools, and further education colleges, and have supported children and learners from newborn to adult age, including those with complex and additional needs.
I have developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, tailored care and learning support that promotes emotional well-being, cognitive development, and independence. My experience working with children with SEND—including autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and physical disabilities—has equipped me to respond with patience, structure, and empathy in any environment.
As a nanny, I take pride in being proactive, dependable, and nurturing. My daily responsibilities have included newborn and infant care, feeding, weaning, nappy changing, toilet training, sleep routines, and personal hygiene. I plan and deliver age-appropriate educational and creative activities, support homework and tutoring, manage household organisation, prepare nutritious meals, and instill positive behaviour and routines. I’ve also accompanied children on outings and residential trips, and supported families during travel and transitions.
I am qualified with a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching & Learning, CPD Level 5 in EYFS and Teaching Assistant training, and a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism. I regularly update my training in safeguarding, mental health, and first aid (including epilepsy, seizures, and diabetes care through Derby Royal Hospital). Currently working within the education sector, I remain up to date with curriculum knowledge and best practices in child development and welfare.
