Kind, bubbly and enthusiastic with children. I'm approachable, nurturing and have 9 years of diverse child care experience. I love being outdoors and very much enjoy teaching in a natural outdoor environment. I believe in a child led approach and feel that listening to a child's needs and interests is important. I'm adventurous and enjoy sports such as, swimming, hiking, Archery and tree climbing. I love music and singing, I play an acoustic guitar and enjoy percussion, such as bongos, frog Guiro, panpipes and rattles. I'm very creative and enjoy making things, I also enjoy being silly with children and being on their level. I am however, assertive, fair and firm when need be.

My Experience
I have 9 years experience looking after children in a diverse range of settings. I've worked in special needs schools, as a swim teacher and activity coach at a holiday resort, along with working as a Park Ranger where I ran outdoor nature activities for families.
Recently in the last 2.5 years, I managed and lead a Forest School Nursery and Holiday Club. Previous to that, I worked in a Montessori Nursery and Forest School, where I have had key children and also lead the school holiday and after school club for 4-12 year old's. Here I had the opportunity to train as a Forest School Leader and gain my Level 3 in Childcare along with Paediatric First Aid.
Although I am yet to have children of my own, I am a proud Auntie to 5 young niece and nephews which I have looked after on my own many times, from them being babies to currently; they are from 1 years old up to 9 years. I have also been trained in Makaton and enjoy using signs, especially when singing.

My Availability
I am very flexible, I have no children of my own yet and currently live at home with my parents. I have my own car and I am a good cook with a Food, Safety and Hygiene Certificate. I would prefer not to work over night but I am happy too depending on circumstances.
