ABOUT ME -
My name is Natasha Khattak and I run Nature Seekers in Harrow.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder and a qualified forest school practitioner.
Here at Nature Seekers I facilitate meaningful opportunities for children to be able to learn, through embracing and exploring nature. My aim is to promote the holistic development of all those involved, fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners.
Having worked in various childcare settings for many years, I noticed children becoming increasingly disconnected to nature and in turn themselves. The value of free, child-initiated outdoor play and adventure is incomparable to any other activity. I am enthused by the prospect of being able to facilitate such activities and provide them with the perfect environment to allow their personality and potential to flourish.
WHAT I OFFER -
From Monday to Friday throughout the year, Nature Seekers offer a childminding service that is inspired by the forest school ethos. We split our time between our home setting and the local woodlands.
I do my utmost to ensure all children in my care develop into well rounded, confident, resilient children with a passion for learning.
My Experience
I have worked at various indoor and outdoor childcare settings over the past 13 years, including a year at a special needs school.

Childcare in a Home Based Setting
Pediatric First Aid Training
Forest School First Aid Training
Safeguarding Children
Qualified Forest School Leader.
My Availability
Nature seekers is open from 8:00am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
I can also offer care outside these hours but this would be on a short-term basis.
I offer School pick ups from Pinner Park Primary School and Hugs and Giggles nursery.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
£8 per hour for childminding (this will include drinks, healthy snacks, regular outings and all resources)
£15 per hour for babysitting (evenings and weekends minimum 4 hours)
School picks up’s will be charged at £5 per day.
Main meals can be included for an additional charge.

My daughter has been going here since she was 1 years old and shes nearly 3 years old, she loves it here! I felt hesitant to take my daughter to a childminder at first untill I met Natasha and shes made me feel so comfortable, Natasha is very nuturing and has great communication skills. It is a very homley environment and my daughter loves Natasha and enjoys the activities and food there too! Thank You Natasha for having us, were so blessed to have you!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Natasha (whom our children affectionately call “Aunty”). From the very beginning, she has gone above and beyond to create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for our three children. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares—she doesn’t just look after them, she truly invests in their happiness, growth, and well-being.
Each of our kids have such different personalities and needs, and Natasha somehow manages to support each of them in exactly the way they need. Whether it’s making a meal from scratch, planning creative activities, or simply offering a listening ear after a long day, she does it all with patience and kindness.
Our youngest has a dairy allergy and fortunately finding a wonderful childminder like Natasha, who is passionate about Forest schooling, has been an ideal environment to support him, his gut and immune system. Before starting, Natasha asked extensively about our child’s likes/needs and we were delighted to find that on the first day of settling in, she had made his favourite meal of mince/keema. She even got smoked salmon for his morning snack (as he has quite an eccentric taste for food!) and thankfully with her care, kindness and experience, he is thriving and moving steadily up the milk ladder! We are eternally grateful for her wisdom, professionalism, knowledge, input and support.
What really stands out is the little extra touches—thoughtful updates, photos, fun outings, and the way she celebrates their milestones as if they were her own. Our children absolutely adore her, and as parents, there’s no greater comfort than knowing they are in such capable and caring hands. They even ask for “Aunty” Natasha on their days off and they have spent many weekends with her happily.
Natasha isn’t just a childminder to us—she’s become an important part of our family. Natasha is truly like a sister and like a maternal Aunt for my kids. We couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you Natasha for always being there. You’re absolutely amazing!!!
