About Me
I am a 29 year old qualified primary teacher living in Great Park, Newcastle. I am currently employed as a Teacher at a School in Gosforth. I moved back to the area in July 2025, after having lived and taught in London for 3.5 years.
I have worked in early years since 2018, with various roles including Preschool leader, Early Years Teacher, Private Tutor (ages 3-16 years), Class Teacher and Deputy Manager of a preschool setting. I have a DBS certificate (on the update service) and am fully trained in paediatric first aid.
In 2018 I graduated from Northumbria University with a First Class Honours degree in Early Primary Education with QTS (Qualified Teaching Status). This means I am qualified to teach children up to age 11 with specialist knowledge in Early Years (ages 3-7) and mathematics.
I realised at the very start of my adult life that working with children and young people was the only career path for me as I love spending time with children due to a shared curiosity, optimism and enthusiasm for life and learning. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages within a range of settings. I have babysit for many families with children of varying ages and needs, across Newcastle and also long-term for families in London, I can provide references upon request.
It is the most satisfying job knowing I am making a positive impact on a child’s life and nothing will compare to the feeling and experience I gain from my work.

- 18 months experience at Explore Learning Newcastle as an English and mathematics tutor for children ages 4-14, including extra creative writing and mathematics courses
- University placements across a range of primary schools within Newcastle Upon Tyne, including teaching across the curriculum within Reception classes, Year 1 class, Year 2 class and mixed year group phonics lessons
- Private tutoring to primary and secondary school aged children, including support with confidence, reading and writing, SATS preparation, GCSE maths and GCSE English
- 8 years experience babysitting/childcare for local families and London families both short term and long term, including daytime and nighttime babysitting, cooking, entertaining (within the home, days out and accompanying children at sports and summer clubs), SEN support and overseeing bedtime routines
- 2.5 years experience providing care and education to preschool children at Church View Day Nursery (ages 2-5)
