Mum to 2 children, eldest at school in Studley and need a new childminder as we are moving (from Birmingham B32 to Studley B80) for my 2 year old son (3 in June). We receive the 30 free funded hours

I am very happy to provide this reference for Theresa, who has been our childminder for over five years.
My daughter started with Theresa when she was just nine months old and remained in her care until she started school. Our son then also joined her at nine months old and is now two years old. Throughout this time, both children attended three days per week, typically between 8:00am and 4:00pm, and made use of the free 30 hours funding once eligible. They also attended additional days during school holidays.
During their time with Theresa, our children were provided with a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment. She offers a lovely, spacious playroom with a wide range of toys and resources suitable for all ages. The children regularly took part in crafts and educational activities, as well as weekly visits to a local church playgroup. They also visited another childminder weekly, giving them valuable opportunities to socialise and mix with other children.
One of the things we valued most was the personal and friendly approach Theresa provides. It truly feels like a home-from-home setting, with plenty of one-to-one attention, which gave us complete confidence that our children were being very well cared for. We were regularly kept updated with photos of the children enjoying different activities, and she also provided a lovely developmental book documenting their work, progress, and milestones over the years, which we will always treasure.
Our children have both thrived in her care, and we are incredibly grateful for the positive impact she has had on their early development. The only reason we are leaving is due to moving house to a completely different area, which unfortunately makes commuting to her setting very difficult.
I would highly recommend Theresa to any family looking for high-quality, caring childcare. We are extremely sad to be leaving her setting and will always be thankful for the care and support she has given our family.
