I understand that some parents may initially wonder whether online tutoring can provide the individual attention and personal connection that face-to-face tuition offers.
My online lessons are highly interactive, personalised and child-centred, with plenty of opportunities for your child to participate, explain their thinking and demonstrate their understanding.
For me, tutoring doesn’t begin and end when the lesson finishes. I genuinely care about each child’s progress and provide appropriate feedback, guidance and support between sessions where helpful.
My aim is to give each child the continuity, encouragement and individual support they need to make meaningful progress.

I provide personalised online Key Stage 2 Maths tutoring, carefully adapted to each child’s individual needs. I have experience supporting neurodivergent learners, including autistic children and those with ADHD, as well as children with a wide range of learning styles, strengths and support needs.
Every child is unique, and I believe they deserve teaching that reflects that.
I genuinely love helping children grow in confidence. Seeing a child go from saying, “I can’t do this,” to proudly saying, “I can!” is what inspires me every day.
I believe we are all wonderfully made, and I value every child as an individual with their own gifts and potential. My aim is to help each child flourish in an encouraging, supportive environment.

My goal isn’t just to prepare children for SATs — although I do that too. It’s to help them develop lasting confidence in maths that will support them throughout school and beyond.

My Experience
I am a highly experienced Key Stage 2 Maths tutor with a particular specialism in Year 6, having worked extensively with Year 6 children for over 13 years.
I have an in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum and a strong understanding of the knowledge and skills required across Key Stage 2, including the preparation needed for Maths SATs.
My experience includes:

* Leading higher-level Maths groups and booster sessions
* • Running Maths clubs
* • Delivering targeted Maths interventions that have helped raise attainment in a relatively short period of time
* • Supporting children across a wide range of academic abilities and individual needs.
I bring a wealth of practical experience to my tutoring, alongside a genuine commitment to helping children achieve their best.
For me, one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring is seeing the “light bulb” moment — when something suddenly clicks and a child realises they can do it.
I find it incredibly rewarding to guide children on their individual learning journeys and play a part in helping them achieve goals they may not have thought possible.

- I am a previous investment banker fully qualified and a specialist tutor with an immense amount of tutoring maths experience spanning over 10 years.
- ACIB (Fully Qualified Associate of the Chartered institute of Bankers)
- BA (Hons) Financial Services 2:1
- NCFE Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3
- NCFE Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3
- I have an enhanced DBS check and I am also trained in all child safeguarding practices.

My daughter has had several tutors since year 2. I had forgotten about this website however recalled it to mind and began searching for a tutor; what a blessing to come across Caroline’s profile she ticked all my boxes, yet the biggest challenge would be convincing my daughter I’ve found a tutor… yet again.
Since October I can safely say this has been one of the best decisions made, I read the reviews and here I am now saying more or less the same thing my daughter’s maths grades have improved drastically, the confidence, the smiles, the positive reports I am getting from her class teacher are all extremely encouraging.
All due to Caroline, listening to her teach maths in a fun, inspiring, interactive way is evidence enough to know that when the session is finished my daughter will be smiling and happy.
She now looks forward to her Thursday morning maths tests, her homework at the weekend and working with Caroline weekly.
Next year will be a big one but I have all the confidence that this will be a walk in the park for her, with Caroline’s guidance.

Caroline has been tutoring my child since the beginning of the year. Over the past couple of months there has been a drastic change in my child's ability to understand maths and most importantly work independently. Initially, we reached out to Caroline to help during SATs period however, we have continued our lessons.
Caroline goes above and beyond, she is extremely helpful, thoughtful and dedicated.

I have no words to thank teacher Caroline, she is amazing.
She has made my daughter's education more successful than I expected.
My daughter was doing very poorly in class before, and now she become the top 3 in her class now.
I am very thankful and grateful to Miss Caroline very much!!
Currently my daughter is still being taught by teacher Caroline and my
daughter will continue to study with her teacher until she enters secondary school.

I was drawn to Caroline by the first line in her profile 'I hate maths..I can't do it!'. This is what my daughter in Year 5 told me all the time.
I'm absolutely delighted with Caroline. This is our first time using any type of tutoring and it couldn't be going any better! My daughter has grown so much in confidence since her sessions began.
Caroline seems to have a great rapport with kids and is very patient. It's never a problem for her to explain something over again. She is also very accommodating and happy to answer any questions between sessions.
I cannot recommend Caroline high enough. If you're thinking of a maths tutor, I would advise you to look no further:)

Being a teacher I was skeptical about whether I would be satisfied with a tutor for my son. During lockdown he became demotivated and was not the most studious of children beforehand to be honest, however, Miss turned his learning experience around. She is fun, committed and has great subject knowledge. I was unsure at first as I was unsure whether a teaching assistant would have enough subject knowledge and skills to engage and teach my son but wow Miss went far and beyond. She gave him regular homework (which she checked and gave feedback for), she played fun maths games and gave assessment practice papers. I could not recommend a better tutor. Even my son who does not like learning enjoyed the lessons and I would hear him having a laugh and engaging fully with his weekly lessons. Thank you so much C we will miss you x
