My Experience

I am an English-speaking, qualified teacher with experience teaching across Early Years, KS1 and KS2. I am warm, reliable and child-focused, with a genuine love for working with children and supporting their emotional, social and academic development. I tailor my approach to each child’
s individual needs and learning style, whether offering extra support to build confidence or providing a gentle challenge to encourage curiosity and independence. I place strong value on routine, clear boundaries and consistency,
and believe children thrive in calm, positive environments where they feel safe, supported and understood.
Since moving to London, I have worked closely with a variety of families and am experienced in
maintaining professional standards, discretion and confidentiality at all times. I currently provide private tutoring to families, supporting homework, study skills and academic routines, alongside working part-time as a Client Relations and Sales Coordinator within a children and family-focused organisation.
Although I thoroughly enjoy my morning job, my true passion and professional focus remains firmly rooted in education and childcare. I am highly experienced in supporting children with their academics and structured day-to-day routines within a family setting. Bachelor of Education Degree; Specialising in the Intermediate/Senior Phase (ages 9-
15 years) in Mathematics and Economic and Management Sciences (accountancy,
business and economics).

Taught lessons at various schools every third term for 10 weeks at a time, as part of
my practical placement. I taught a total of 32 weeks across Primary and High schools,
teaching all school subjects to children between the ages of 9 and 15.

Graduated from Stellenbosch university with a Cum Laude
