About Me
I’m Tessa, mum to two wonderful boys — Arlo (3, turning 4 in October) and Finley (11).
We live in Frome and I work at Center Parcs, which keeps me busy but also gives me a great appreciation for people who create caring, fun, and safe environments for children.
I’m friendly, reliable, and easy to get along with. I’m more comfortable with written messages than phone calls, and can sometimes be a bit shy or nervous face to face at first but once I get to know someone, I’m open and easy-going.
We’re looking for someone who can offer Arlo a happy, structured place to learn and play, while also understanding his needs as a child with autism.
My Requirements
Hi, I’m Tessa, mum to Arlo (3, turning 4 in October)
We’re looking for a caring, Ofsted-registered childminder in Frome for:
Mondays & Fridays, 9 am to 4 pm (while I’m at work)
Wednesdays, 9 am to 4 pm (extra day for Arlo to socialise and learn)
Term time and school holidays
Arlo has been diagnosed with autism, and he’s a loving little boy with lots of energy who enjoys outdoor play, sensory activities, and making people smile. We’re looking for someone understanding and experienced (or willing to learn) who can provide a supportive, structured environment.
We’d like to use his funded hours for all of this time, and will pay for any additional hours.
We don’t drive, so ideally you would be within walking distance of broadway area or able to help with drop-off/pick-up.
