About Me
Hi! I'm Nonnie! A 28 year old single Mum who has just moved to Derby with my 6 year old son, Isaac.
Isaac is a bouncy, funny, silly boy who loves to be active and adventuring. Isaac has ASD and ADHD, he struggles with sensory overwhelm and can have meltdowns when dysregulated, so someone who has actual experience with SEN kids would be a must.
We don't have any family nearby and haven't had a chance to create a social circle yet so I'm looking for someone who could take Isaac to the park or soft play whilst I attend appointments or get boring stuff done (lord knows he'd have a melt if I tried to take him grocery shopping!)
My Requirements
Occasional short care, so I can attend Drs appointments or complete life admin without having to be 100% focus on Isaac, juggling SEN needs and important information is rough.
If Isaac really clicks with anyone specific I may look at getting a regular session in place as I'm sure a change of face and something to look forward to would be beneficial to him!
