About Me
I provide private tutoring for Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 aged children. I have specialised in Early Years Education and have extensive experience in working with a variety of SEN children.
My Experience
I have lived in London, England since 1988, during which time I have enjoyed a very successful career in the education sector. I have been a primary school teacher for over 30 years and have held senior positions, including assistant head teacher. During my career I have been instrumental in leading my Schools to achieve an Ofsted Outstanding rating.
My passion for teaching is fundamentally driven by my desire to positively impact young children's lives, by empowering them through instilling confidence in their abilities in order for them to thrive and succeed.
I have many years of experience in teaching children with special needs as well as working with targeted children to help them to further improve their knowledge and understanding of different subjects. I have specialised in Early Years education and understand the importance of building a firm foundation to the child's learning. I am fully qualified to teach children to read and write using phonics as well as incorporating fun and engaging learning activities to ensure your child looks forward to our sessions.
Alongside my career, I have also created a loving family with my late husband, whereby we had two boys who are now adults and successfully leading their own lives. Alongside school, I also tutored my own children using the same approach I do with my current students. Both of my children excelled in their studies and progressed to further academic study in leading British Universities, Cambridge. Whatever your ambitions are for your child, I will ensure that they have all the resources and guidance to achieve their full potential.

Ms Minna has been providing tuition for my daughter for over a year now. My initial ask was that Ms Minna challenge my daughter as I felt she was very unchallenged at school and needed the stretch. I have seen my daughter's love for learning grow, her inquisitiveness sharpen and its all thanks to Ms Minna, who is patient, softly spoken and adaptable depending on your child.
I highly recommend Ms Minna and can't wait to send my younger son for 1-2-1 sessions.

Miss Minna has been tutoring my 9 year old for over 3 years and my 5 year old for a year. She has built fantastic relationships with both children as well as us parents! Minna has a wonderful way with the boys and her experience shines through. She is patient, caring and motivating, all the characteristics one would want in a tutor. The 1-2-1 sessions have a had a huge impact on both boys, increasing their confidence in reading, writing and comprehension. I cannot recommend Miss Minna highly enough - we all think she is just fantastic!

Minna has been tutoring my child for 10 months, he has made significant improvements in both English and Maths. Minna is a very patient and caring tutor, my son is more confident in his learning and he always looks forward to his tutoring lessons.

My daughter has been studying with Miss Minna for more than a year, and we have seen significant improvements in her in just a few short months. She is a very considerate educator who carefully considers how she conveys the subject matter. She is very patient and constantly motivates and help my daughter with her learning, and her classes are very interesting and helpful. I'm overjoyed to have discovered her workshop and would heartily endorse her to anyone looking to take lessons.

Ms Minah is really great tutor, my son has come along so well and she is caring yet knows how to adapt to different working methods depending on the child’s behaviour. She support parents and works with them to ensure child is able to thrive and keep up in the school.
