My Experience

I have lived in London, England since 1988, during which time I have enjoyed a very successful career in the education sector. I have been a primary school teacher for over 30 years and have held senior positions, including assistant head teacher. During my career I have been instrumental in leading my Schools to achieve an Ofsted Outstanding rating.

My passion for teaching is fundamentally driven by my desire to positively impact young children's lives, by empowering them through instilling confidence in their abilities in order for them to thrive and succeed.

I have many years of experience in teaching children with special needs as well as working with targeted children to help them to further improve their knowledge and understanding of different subjects. I have specialised in Early Years education and understand the importance of building a firm foundation to the child's learning. I am fully qualified to teach children to read and write using phonics as well as incorporating fun and engaging learning activities to ensure your child looks forward to our sessions.

Alongside my career, I have also created a loving family with my late husband, whereby we had two boys who are now adults and successfully leading their own lives. Alongside school, I also tutored my own children using the same approach I do with my current students. Both of my children excelled in their studies and progressed to further academic study in leading British Universities, Cambridge. Whatever your ambitions are for your child, I will ensure that they have all the resources and guidance to achieve their full potential.

1) Honours Degree in Primary School Teaching with commendation (ranked 1st out of a cohort of 120 students)
2) Training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
3) Held the following positions in the education sector, Early Years Teacher, Foundation Stage Leader, Child Protection Officer, Science Coordinator and Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion
