My Summary
About Me
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I am a bilingual English–Spanish nanny with a strong background in education and a genuine love of working with children. I have lived and worked in several countries across three continents and have been based in London since 2015, where I have settled and hold UK Settled Status.
I particularly enjoy working with children from preschool age onwards, when they are becoming increasingly independent, curious and engaged with the world around them. I love being part of this stage of their lives — supporting their everyday routines and practical needs, helping them with their learning and confidence, and finding enjoyable ways to bring creativity and education into ordinary moments.
My approach is both playful and educational. I aim to create a happy, calm and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and encouraged, while providing gentle guidance, clear boundaries and plenty of encouragement. I am warm, joyful and down-to-earth, and naturally caring and empathetic. I tend to build a good rapport with children and parents quite quickly and believe in working closely with parents, respecting their values, routines and way of doing things.
I am also reliable, organised and proactive. I am happy to take responsibility for the children's day-to-day care and organisation, including school runs, activities, meals, routines, appointments, holiday planning, laundry and keeping their belongings and spaces organised. I can also provide practical PA and family support, liaising with schools and other professionals, arranging appointments and activities, keeping track of children's and household essentials, and generally taking care of the small details that help a busy household run smoothly.
I have experience supporting neurodivergent children and enjoy adapting my approach to each child's personality, communication style and way of learning. My background in drama and bodywork also gives me additional tools for engaging children creatively and helping them feel comfortable and confident.
As a native Spanish speaker with excellent English, I can introduce or maintain Spanish naturally through conversation, stories, songs and everyday activities for families who would like their children to grow up bilingual.
I am comfortable working independently and also enjoy being part of a close family team. I am open to both live-out and live-in positions. I particularly enjoy the lifestyle of a live-in role when there is a good mutual fit: I am naturally home-oriented, enjoy being part of family life and value the opportunity to become a trusted and reliable presence in the household. At the same time, I am very happy to consider a well-structured live-out position, particularly where the hours and location are a good fit.
For me, the most important thing is finding the right family — one where there is mutual trust, respect and honest communication. I would love the opportunity to get to know a family and see whether we might be a good fit.

My Experience
I have varied hands-on experience in both teaching and private childcare.
I have worked in London and across Europe with private families as a Governess, Educational Nanny, SEN Nanny and Tutor. My roles have included supporting children's learning, helping with homework and educational activities, establishing routines, organising children's days and providing the practical care and guidance they need at home.
In London, I have also worked in school settings as an Intervention Teacher and Learning Support Assistant, supporting children with a range of learning and additional needs.
Earlier in my career, I worked in Asia as a primary teacher and lecturer, gaining valuable classroom and teaching experience in international settings.
My educational and childcare background allows me to adapt my approach to different children, personalities and learning styles. I have experience supporting early literacy, phonics, reading, writing and numeracy, as well as homework, study skills and school projects. I have also worked alongside specialist professionals and followed individual programmes recommended by Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and other members of a child's support team.
My experience as both a nanny and educator means that I can combine the practical responsibilities of family life with meaningful educational support, while encouraging children to become confident, independent and enthusiastic learners.
