About Me
Hello, I'm Amy, I live in St Johns with my husband and daughters Abigail (8) and Matilda (6). My setting has a large playroom with space for role play, building, colouring, crafts and messy play! We have 2 cosy reading areas as well as a sensory play area with fibre optic lights. Outside we enjoy playing in the sand pit, on the climbing equipment and growing things in the vegetable patch. The children also enjoy helping to care for our cat, Barney. As a childminder I am able to offer your child individualised provision to meet their needs and interests. My Experience
I have been a teacher for 7 years and have an excellent understanding of early years development. My approach is very child led, enabling the child to take the lead in their learning and offering them the tools, support and resources to develop their full potential. I also worked as a foster carer and of course have my own daughters.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher with QTS.
I have completed courses in: Pediatric First Aid, Safeguarding children, food hygiene, Delivery of the EYFS and outdoor education.
