About Me
Hello my name is Michelle, I'm a friendly, caring and professional Ofsted registered childminder living in the Grays area with my partner and children. I live within walking distance of Harris Primary Academy Mayflower
school, where two of my children attend.
As a family we enjoy going out to lots of different places including parks, the beach, woods, zoo's, theme parks. When at home we spend time playing games, doing arts and crafts, playing in the garden. I feel it is important that children have many different experiences to help them develop and grow.
My Experience
Right from school I knew I wanted to work with children and was thrilled when I had the opportunity to work as an apprentice at 17. I have worked within childcare since then and this year marks 20 years! I have worked in
nurseries and after school clubs and have experience of working with babies and children up to 12 years.
I provide quality and affordable childcare to children of all ages and abilities in a warm and welcoming environment.
I follow the guidelines set out in The Early Years Foundation Stage to plan suitable activities for the children to ensure they are learning and developing as expected for their age. I love to see children flourish to their full potential through fun and engaging activities.
I have a natural love of children and I enjoy being part of each child's unique developmental journey.
For children who attend my setting after school they will be offered a warm, friendly and relaxed environment. A variety of activities will be available everyday including drawing, colouring, games, arts and crafts, cooking, role play, lego, time in the park.
My Qualifications
Over the past 20 years I have gained my childcare qualifications and completed many training course to ensure my knowledge is up to date and my practice is at its best, this includes but not limited to:

My Availability
I am available Monday to Saturday between 6 am and 8 pm.
I drop off and collect children from Harris Academy Mayflower school.
