My Requirements

We are a warm and welcoming family based in Islington, looking for an experienced, reliable, and nurturing full-time nanny to care for our two children: a 7-month-old baby boy and a 5-year-old girl.
Looking to work with someone locally.

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 6:30pm
(From January 2026: Monday –Thursday, 8:00am – 6:30pm & Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm)
Some flexibility with hours will be appreciated on occasion.

Responsibilities:
For our 7-month-old son:
Full care throughout the day
Preparing and feeding meals/bottles
Managing naps
Researching and arranging age appropriate activities
Maintaining routine and developmental milestones
Baby’s laundry and tidying his areas

For our 5-year-old daughter:
School pick-up (occasional drop-off if needed)
Full care during school holidays
Researching and arranging age appropriate activities
Preparing meals/snacks, engaging in play, reading, and creative activities
Laundry and tidying her areas

General duties:
All aspects of childcare related to both children
Keeping children's areas clean and organised
Supporting family routines and helping to create a nurturing, stimulating environment

Ideal Candidate:
Experience with babies and school-age children
Warm, proactive, responsible, patient, kind, and reliable
Fluent in English
DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
Paediatric First Aid trained (or willing to obtain)
Ofsted-registered preferred but not required
Able to commit long-term
Non-smoker
