About Me
My names is Samantha Marsden and I live with my husband Luke and cat Snowy in Narborough Leicestershire. I have just registered as a OFSTED registered childminder
I have been working with children since 2006 and I have worked in several environments and different ages of children.
I provide flexible childcare from 5months -8 years in a home to home caring environment. I will support parents and children to become caring, independent, fun loving individuals. Working professionally with very high standards and working with partnerships with parents to fulfil your child’s full potential.
I am a warm, caring, organised person with a child friendly home that is safe and welcoming that will help all children settle and feel secure with me. I offer wrap around care that will ensure stability and security for all children.
I know that leaving your children with another person and going back to work is a big step but I will make sure that your child is safe and I will make sure I support parents as your child is your life. I will make sure I have plans, Policies and procedures that cover all aspects in my setting.

My Experience
I have worked in nurseries, schools, sure start centres for 10 years and I really enjoy it and would like to carrying on by becoming a childminder in my own home. I have experiences with all ages and I will make sure all children’s individual needs are met.
I provide all meals and lunch and tea are included in fees and milk and fresh drinking water is provided. I am first aid trained and hold a food and hygiene certificate.
My Qualifications
My training is extensive and ongoing. I have a diploma in childcare level 3 and level 4 in early childhood studies that was achieved in 2007. I have completed more training this year to keep up to date. I have completed a 12 hour training course in paediatric first aid every 3 years. I have completed training in lead safeguarding designated officer, food hygiene. I often attend training with the early years foundation stage and every child matters.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
I charge from £6 per hour and i offer full time, part time, am, pm and school sessions. Term time and school holidays are available.
Childcare vouchers and tax free childcare are accepted and I offer 2&3 year old funding. Food is not included for funded children you can bring your own food.
