About Me
Hello! I love the two jobs people don't recommend, working with children and animals! I have a 7 year old daughter myself and am looking for jobs that will fit around my daughters school life a bit more as these years are so precious and over too quickly! I have 3 very loveable but crazy cats and had all sorts of quirky and unique pets over the years. I'm a mum to any kids that are in my care and look out for them as my own, always thinking about what's best for them and best for their parents. Through my current work I have had first aid training plus a full clean DBS check!
I am looking to join either a small, freindly, wholesime nursery part time and term time only, but also would love to be a personal babysitter / childminder (not yet registered but something I would like to work towards). I would love to find something where I am 1:1 with a SEN child as I feel like that's where I found my calling in the past.
I don't drive but I do love to walk and will try my best to always commute wherever possible.

My Experience
My earliest experience is my now 7 year old daughter, so I've had the beautiful baby stage, the terrible twos and the threenage, and all the rest that follow! I love being a mum and so grateful that I am.
So, for the official experience. I have been working in my current nursery for nearly 2 and a half years, looking after children from 2 to 4 and then in our after school club ages 5-11. I know how to manage lunch time, setting up activities, engaging curiosity, making playdough, encouraging independence in hygiene and of course being a human resource for playing hairdressers and shop keeper!
I've done my first aid course and have a full clean DBS check done through my work.
I have a NVQ level 2 diploma as an early years practitioner.
For approx 6 months I also worked 1:1 with a SEND child who is now thriving and that was definitely my favourite thing I've ever done.
I've also done cleaning jobs for homes and for a business, plus lots of animal farm work and happily working alongside and with household pets.

My Availability
Im looking for part time (approx 8-15 hours a week). I will be available throughout the school day, ideally term time only, although if it's babysitting or working closely with a family, these days can be further discussed, also if I'm available then happy for the occasional evening babysitting gig. I am also happy to go into after school hours if it's for an hour or so, or especially if I could tag my daughter along in any hours. I'm a pretty relaxed person and always happy to help so please feel free to chat and ask with any enquiries.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nursery work from £12.21 per hour
I am flexible with fees, in a permanent job situation I would ask for £12.21 to £13 ph and for baby sitting (depending on time of day) approx starting from £13ph. Happy to discuss!
