About Me

Hello, my name is Tamsin. I am an OFSTED registered childminder and have been childminding in Plymouth for 4 years. I am also mum to a wonderful 6 year old.

Before childminding, I worked in primary schools, teaching a variety of year groups including EYFS and in SEND provisions.

I adore what I do and love to be able to provide a home from home setting for the children I care for, in which learning through play and experience is at the core of everything I do.

My week with the children tends to involve getting out and about (rain or shine - we love getting muddy and splashing in puddles!), attending local playgroups, trips out and about (to the Hoe, Aquarium, local parks, soft play, The Box and much more!) and of course lots of opportunities for fun, crafts and playtime in my home.

I have been a childminder since 2021, prior to this I worked in education for 7 years.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified primary school teacher (I hold a BEd in Primary Education specialising in SEND with Qualified teacher status).
