I’m Renuka, the proud founder of The Learning Trail, a nurturing, home-based childcare setting where your child’s well-being and development are at the heart of everything I do.
I am incredibly passionate about creating a safe, stimulating, and friendly environment that feels like a second home for your little ones. My aim is to support each child’s emotional, social, and intellectual development while providing peace of mind to parents who entrust me with their care.
As an Ofsted-registered childminder through Tiney, I ensure the highest standards of care and learning are met, always in line with the EYFS framework.

Our day-to-day activities are a beautiful mix of adult-led and child-initiated play. I strongly believe in following the child’s lead, giving them the freedom to explore, imagine, and create — because that’s how true learning happens.
I have a special love for nature-based learning and often take children on enriching experiences like:
• Nature walks & scavenger hunts
• Reading under trees
• taking them o local parks
These activities not only promote physical development but also help children flourish holistically into happy, curious, and independent individuals.

I live with my husband and our two lovely children — my 7.5yrs old daughter and 6-yrs-old son. We’re a fun-loving, love travelling-happy family that enjoys delicious food and making the most of every moment. Our home is full of laughter, learning, and lots of creativity!
Regular communication with parents is essential to me. I will keep you updated with daily feedback and photos via the app, so you’re always in tune with your child’s journey at The Learning Trail.

My Experience
I have over 8 years of experience working in numerous primary schools as a Learning Support Assistant, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role allowed me to develop a deep understanding of inclusive education and how to nurture each child’s individual learning journey with care and patience.
For the past 4 years, I have been working as a registered childminder, creating a warm, stimulating, and home-like environment where children feel safe and happy. I’m proud to share that I have recently received an ‘Outstanding’ grading in all areas, a recognition of my commitment to providing the highest quality of care and early education.
In addition to this, I have gained valuable experience working with children of various age groups as a nanny and private tutor, which has further strengthened my ability to meet children’s emotional, academic, and developmental needs.
This diverse experience enables me to provide well-rounded, individualised care that supports children to grow into confident, curious, and capable young learners.
My Qualifications
I am committed to continuous professional development and hold the following qualifications and certifications:
• M.A. in Special Educational Needs
• M.Ed. in Special Educational Needs (Visual Impairment)
• B.A. B.Ed. in Special Education and Teaching (Visual Impairment)
• EYFS Foundation Course – Supporting learning and development in early years settings
• Paediatric First Aid Training – Ensuring children’s health and safety at all times
• Safeguarding Children Certificate – Protecting children and promoting their welfare
• Prevent Duty Training – Promoting inclusive values and identifying early signs of radicalisation
• Food Hygiene Certification – Maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Daycare Charges & Information
Charges:
£7 per hour onwards (based on individual requirements)
Applicable Hours:
Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Minimum Booking:
• 3 full days per week

What’s Included in the Price:
1. Breakfast (8:00 AM – 9:00 AM):
Porridge, cereal, fruits, etc.
2. Mid-morning Snack (10:00 AM – 10:30AM):
Fruits, crackers, yoghurt, etc.
3. Lunch (for children staying beyond 12:00 PM):
Home-cooked, healthy hot meals (vegetarian and non-vegetarian options)
4. Evening Tea (3:00 PM – 4:00 PM):
Tea, biscuits, crackers, etc.
Dinner is available upon request. Additional charges apply.

• Care during unsocial hours (before 8:00 AM / after 6:00 PM)

What can I say about renuka is that she is such an amazing person. She is very loving, helping and creative person. My daughter just finished her nursery with her n she loves to go there every day. Cannot recommend Renuka highly enough! Her warm and nurturing personality means my little boy absolutely adores her. He’s so excited to tell me all about his time when I pick him up. Renuka has a lovely setting, full of educational toys and a super garden for exploring climbing, jumping, running, riding bikes and digging in the giant sand pit. I am so grateful that Renuka was available to take my little boy as it’s not easy to find a childminder that you trust to leave your pride and joy with but she treats them all with such love and kindness and it is apparent that every child there is happy and settled.

My daughter is going with Renuka from past 1 year and she is just amazing and very professional.
My daughter settled down very easily and she eats very well over there though she through tantrums to eat anything at home
Whenever we say our daughter in early morning that wake up my daring we have to go "RENUKA HOUSE" and she wakes up with joy and ready to go.
I noticed in some preschool that when we pick up kids they have runny nose and diapers full with pee that I really didn't like it but at learning trail Renuka and all theirs staffs are just amazing never had this complain with them
I highly recommend Renuka as kids always feels like a home at learning trail

Renuka has been incredible with our two children. They both settled very quickly within her setting and love going every day. Renuka offers a variety of learning through play, and they come home every time having learnt more and they’ve grown confidence in abundance. Both of our children are dairy intolerant and Renuka has welcomed them and adapted where necessary. We would highly recommend Renuka to anyone who is in need of a childminder - it’s honestly like home from home, very accommodating and ALWAYS smiling. My daughter has been going to Renuka at The Learning Trail for nearly 3 years now, since starting school and she absolutely loves her time with Renuka. The environment Renuka has created is calm but fun, also taking time to help the children learn and develop skills, outside and inside the home. She is passionate about the children in her care, treating them as individuals and my daughter adores her. Renuka’s mission and passion is well and truly all about children. My son joined just before he turned 9 months and to put it simply, he is thriving in every area. He loves it there and even got to experience his first Sports Day at 1.5yrs old🥰. Potty training is a huge transition as any parent will know, and he is being supported so beautifully through this phase. I wouldn’t have been as confident to start potty training if he’d been in a nursery setting. My now 8yo daughter attended previously for a number of school holidays and she loved going there everyday. Reunka is thoughtful, generous, super-woman-calm and intelligent. We are a non-British family and together with her husband + children, Renuka has made us all feel right at home🌺.

Renuka's setting is the most amazing environment for children, from tiny babies to pre school.
The house is full of wonderful fun toys and activities, which encourage learning but are great fun!
Our Son has been with Renuka from when she was 10 months old, in that time we have seen him become a confident happy little boy. His speech, gross and fine motor skills, and social skills have developed greatly and I strongly believe this is down to Renuka's encouragement and teaching.
Our Son is treated like an extended part of her family, and is always relaxed and content when I drop him off and collect him, it's not unusual for him to not be keen to come home, particularly if he is in the garden in or enjoying playing with Renuka's kids. They Both are so friendly, supportive and Lovely.
The children get to spend lots of time outside, and again there is the most amazing array of toys, activities to be done, and wonderful world of make believe to explore like various outdoor activities.
I could go on and on about all the fantastic and brilliant things that Renuka does at My boy but we'll be here at work all day! Go and see for yourselves you will be amazed!

Renuka has been amazing with my two children. One of my children has additional educational needs and Renuka has worked together with me and taken on board on the advice and support given by the professionals to best support my child. In addition, I love the photos she sends me everyday of the different activities my children have done and this really makes my day seeing my children happy and enjoying learning. In addition Renuka's communication is brilliant and she is flexible in providing extra childcare even at short notice. Renuka has been a God send and I would recommend her to other parents/carers looking for childcare.

It is an amazing three months at the Learning Trail with Renuka. My boy absolutely adores going there. Renuka has been planning every week with so much attention and care. My son enjoys the same as I can see from August to now he has learnt. He also loves the food. What I love most is that he is more and more sociable and he is keen in trying new things and play activities and goes with it with confidence. Also Renuka is calm and patient, she takes a lot of interest in his likes and dislikes. Her ways of making kids learn new things through nature, introducing them to the beauty of nature is wonderful and refreshing. I would definitely recommend The Learning Trail. It’s a safe happy place to grow.
