About Me
We have the most wonderful, curious, adventurous, imaginative 5 year old. She loves imaginary play, stories, and animals. I stay home and look after her full-time and her Dad works full-time in philanthropy, at the moment from home. As a family we love to play together, go for walks, dance, cook, listen to music and tell stories. Nature and the environment is important to us and we are trying to live sustainably. We are peaceful and respectful parents. We are planning on home education and to follow a style of self directed learning. We believe in trusting our daughter and we value free play, joy, autonomy, and giving space for everyone in our family to be themselves and follow their passions.
My Requirements
We are looking for a regular babysitter/nanny to become part of our family life. We would like to find a calm, responsive, joyful and nurturing person to spend 3 to 5 hours a week (possibly more) playing with our daughter. I would be in the house/nearby during the time but out of the way - taking the time to focus on my own projects and interests. We are looking for someone who is interested in child development, respectful parenting and willing to take the time to understand our family culture.
