About Me
We have the most wonderful, curious, adventurous, imaginative 6 year old, and a 1 month baby. I am a full-time parent and her Dad works full-time in philanthropy, at the moment from home. As a family we love to play together, go for walks, dance, listen to music and tell stories. Nature and the environment is important to us and we are trying to live sustainably. We are peaceful and respectful parents. We home educate and follow a style of self directed learning. We value free play, joy, autonomy, and giving space for everyone in our family to be themselves and follow their passions.
My Requirements
We are looking for a regular babysitter/nanny to become part of our family life. We would like to find a calm, responsive, joyful and nurturing person to spend 10 to 15 hours a week (possibly more) helping with childcare. We are thinking a few mornings and/or afternoon/evenings a week. What we are looking for : someone to spend time with our 6 year old - play, craft, projects, to help hold, look after baby, help us get ready for the day in the mornings, and in afternoons/evenings help with meals and getting ready for bed. We are looking for someone who is interested in child development, respectful parenting, play and learning.
