About Me

We are looking for a part time nanny to look after our 10 year-old son, ideally after school from 3pm, Tuesday to Thursday and all day during the school holidays. For the right person, we can consider different or more/ less hours/days or help during the school holidays only so please still get in touch if you are interested as we can be flexible. We are based in Halstead, Sevenoaks.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient, and active. A clean driving licence is a must as he loves to go out and visit parks, castles, the seaside and lots of other places during the school holidays. Indoors, he likes playing with Lego, playmobile, cooking and drawing/ colouring.

Our son has ASD with particular sensory needs and is globally delayed by approximately 3 years. A nanny with ASD experience would be preferred, but is not essential. He is verbal and able to be independent but loves attention from adults. He loves to play and is happy and active. He needs help to not get frustrated, contain his emotions and regulate his sensory needs.

There is no requirement to undertake any household chores. During the holidays and on occasions during the week it would be helpful if you can assist in preparing meals for the children.

We also have a 12 year old daughter at home but she is largely independent and doesn’t get home from school until early evening. She also entertains herself during the holidays but does like a chat and the odd trip out if you are going out.
