About Me
I am a Ofsted registered childminder in the Baddeley Green area and a qualified Level 6 Early Years Practitioner. I have worked with all different aged children ranging from birth to ten years old in primary schools, private nurseries and within my own setting.
I am married to my husband Kieran and we have 2 children, a girl and a boy. I offer a cosy home to home environment as I believe this is the most comforting for children and helps them feel most at ease. I use the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and childrens interests to help me in planning activities. We provide lots of free flow play opportunities and incorporate activities throughout the day to relate to topics we learn about. I aspire to help each child to become happy, confident and to have fun through play. But most of all something I believe is very important is that we adapt to the children we look after and follow their needs to suit them and their families.
I am Level 1 Safeguarding trained and I am a Designated Safeguarding Lead within my setting. I am also fully Paediatric First Aid trained and I have a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification. I also attend online webinars as I continually look at ways to improve my professional development.

My Experience
I have a vast amount of experience of working in several different settings within the Early Years and schools. I have taken care and looked after children from one years up to ten years old. I have lots of experience in providing activities to help children’s development thrive and can help support children where needs be through developmental checks. I have my own two children, one is 4 and one is 2 years old currently.

£45 per day
I also take childcare vouchers, provide tax free childcare and government funding
