About Me
Hello. I am an Ofsted registered childminder who has been working in childcare for years and I have a vast amount of experience with children from birth upwards. . I run a small setting from my own home and focus on a homely environment, where the children are safe, secure and happy and therefore have lots of fun and learn through playing. A lot of time and learning is done outdoors and we go out for a large part of the day.
We have a lot of fun and learning going to parks, wildlife areas, toddler groups, transport museum, etc and we socialise with other children and childminders.
I trained as a nursery nurse as I finished school , and I have seen many , many changes over the years , as we become more respected as childcare providers and early years educators. I follow the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum which was recently updated in September 2021.
I embrace working alongside parents to help and support your child in reaching their potential, and I regularly update parents on activities we have done through the day and what they have enjoyed.
I do regular training and updating of legislation, and I managed to work all through the recent pandemic helping to support the children and families and try to keep a sense of normality!,
My Experience
I still love working with children ,and as I only have 2 or 3 children at a time, I get to know them extremely well . They definitely become part of the family ..I love the laughs we have and that helps to keep me happy and enjoy my job..
I have had a wealth of experience and I have been a nanny in the past, working with newborn babies , toddlers , pre schoolers and then following on with the children once they start school.
My Qualifications
I am NNEB trained and as well as Paediatric first aid training and regular safeguarding training.,I do Food hygiene, keeping up with EYFS , Ofsted inspections, business checks, lots of play courses, training around COVID and reintroducing children after absences , singing and story telling, etc, etc
My Availability
I work Monday to Thursday from 7.30 til 6.
I am currently looking for a toddler or pre schooler for 2 to 3 days a week .

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I charge £7 an hour for full days and £8 an hour for under 6 hours a day. I charge £10 an hour for after schoolers
I take 4 weeks paid holiday per year and I charge for the child’s absence .
My Local Schools
