Hello, I'm Maya! I'm 20 years old and a friendly, bubbly, responsible, and well experienced babysitter! I love anything creative, and love to invent games that really explore the imaginations of children. Despite my younger age I am mature, but this also allows me to communicate with children and teenagers more easily.
I don't currently have a car, but am able to pick children up from school and take them home if it is within walking distance. I'm also able to give children dinner and put them to bed.
My Experience
I have been looking after children for 4 years, and have looked after children from the ages of 2 to 14 years old. From September 2019 to October 2020 I worked at a breakfast and after-school program in a primary school, and have excellent references. I have 9 GCSE'S and 3 A-levels, so this enables me to help with homework or any other academic tasks. I am also studying at university as a creative writing student which has developed my communication skills and helps me to apply my creativity to my job in a fun way-- I am very good at telling stories, with a variety of voices!
My Qualifications
I have no formal childcare qualifications, but I have four years of experience, with a year of working within a primary school under my belt.
My Availability
As it is the summer holidays, I am free the majority of the time, though feel free to ask me for specific days. This will continue up until October, when university starts again.
