My Requirements

Live-in Nanny/Housekeeper Required – Full-Time, 24/7 Role

I am a single mum living with 2 children. I’m currently looking for an OFSTED-registered full-time live-in nanny/housekeeper to join our home and support my family on a 24/7 live-in basis.

Main Responsibilities

Childcare Duties
    •   Provide full personal care support to my 11-year-old daughter (Aura), who is non-verbal and autistic, including:
      •   Bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and hygiene
      •   Being calm and gentle, especially during hair care
    •   Support my 7-year-old son (Aaron) with:
      •   Homework, reading, and school learning
      •   Structured daily routines and emotional development
    •   Prepare nutritious meals for both children
    •   Maintain strict bedtime routines and stay with my daughter overnight
    •   Create a safe, patient, and loving environment for both children
    •   Accompany the family on occasional holidays or trips, if needed

Household Duties
   •   Cooking meals for the children and family
   •   Keeping the home clean and tidy (sweeping, mopping, etc.)
   •   Laundry: wash, dry, iron, and organise clothes
   •   Preparing packed lunches and ironing uniforms
   •   Grocery shopping (emergency card provided)
   •   Preparing dosa batter every 3 days
   •   Buying fresh fish weekly from Hounslow
   •   Keeping children’s rooms and the kitchen clean
   •   Managing school prep (packing bags, laying out uniforms)

Daily Schedule Summary (School Days)

Morning
   •   Aura: Wake up 6–6:30 AM, personal care, breakfast (dosa & chutney), hair, ready by 7:45 AM
   •   Aaron: Wake 7:30 AM, shower, breakfast, drop off by 8:30 AM

Daytime
   •   Household cleaning, laundry, and food preparation

Afternoon
   •   3:05 PM: Pick up Aaron from school
   •   Shower and change him, give lunch with fruits
   •   Prepare chutney/curry for Aura
   •   4:00 PM: Aura returns—shower, change, feed her 7–10 dosas
   •   Supervise children: reading, park, walk, play

Evening
   •   7:00 PM: Dinner (Aura: macaroni/egg/dosa; Aaron: roti, toast, chicken, egg, etc.)
   •   8:00 PM: Brush teeth, bedtime routine
   •   Sleep beside Aura (may need toilet help at night)

School Holiday Adjustments
   •   Similar routine with added:
      •   Tablet time (limited), park, walks, baking, swimming
      •   Include kids in meal prep/snacks for fun learning

Important Guidelines
   •   Be patient, loving, and consistent
   •   Never shout, hit, or leave children unattended
   •   No phone use while children are awake or present
   •   Do not share children’s pictures online – send only to me privately
   •   Must notify me before leaving the house
   •   Help prepare Aura mentally for school (especially Sundays)

Requirements
   •   Legal right to work in the UK (must provide documents)
   •   Fluent in English, preferably indian (it will be easy for me to communicate)
   •   Experience with special needs children is preferred
   •   Must be reliable, kind, patient, and discreet
   •   Must be comfortable living in and working 7 days a week
   •   Willingness to travel with us if required

Salary & Benefits
   •   £2000 – £2,500/month (depending on experience and qualifications)
   •   All meals and accommodation included
   •   Emergency shopping card provided
   •   Private room with shared home facilities
   •   Long-term, stable employment for the right person
