About Me
We are a happy, energetic and outdoorsy family - parents to our gorgeous busy little boys Alfie (4) and Teddy (18 months). My husband and I both work in demanding jobs we love (and travel globally too) and as our wonderful nanny who has been with us for 4 years is leaving, we are looking for a full time nanny to do drop off (Barnes to Putney - Merlin School) for our 4yo, look after the 18 month old in the day (barring 2x mornings at nursery) and school pick up, who is happy to help with housekeeping and housework during the 18mo nap times, and occasional babysitting
My Requirements
? Schedule & Availability
• Start Date: January
• Hours: (45 hours per week, )
• 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (school drop-off, baby during day, school pick-up and after-school care)
Finish at 1pm Fridays
• Flexibility: Occasional evening babysitting and flexibility to stay later (~7pm) several times per month
Transport Requirements
• Must be comfortable riding a cargo bike to Putney (Merlin school, ~15 mins), or have their own car, or be comfortable driving our car (round trip)
• Therefore, must hold a valid driver’s licence
• Should live relatively locally to SW13
Children
• Two boys: 4 years old and 18 months old
• Must be comfortable with energetic boys and have experience caring for two at once
Duties
• Morning routine: Get both children ready, handle drop-offs or play with 18 mo if no nursery
Middle of day: 18 mo will nap 1-3pm, light housekeeping duties during nap
• Afternoon: Pick up from school, supervise play, help with snacks and dinner prep
• Developmental support: Encourage reading, homework, fine motor skills (cutting, sticking, writing practice)
• Light child-related housekeeping:
• Prepare the toddler’s lunch for nursery
• Pack the older child’s snacks
• Fold and put away the children’s laundry (when time allows)
• Keep children active — lots of outdoor time and exercise
