About Me

Working with children has always been my passion. From a young age, I knew that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of little ones and help them grow and develop. That’s why I pursued my education in early childhood development and am now a fully qualified nursery worker.

I work in a private nursery 5 days a week, where I spend my days engaging with and caring for children. I have been there for nearly 3 years. It’s a challenging yet incredibly rewarding job, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I love getting to know each child and watching them learn and grow. Seeing their eyes light up when they learn something new or accomplish a task on their own is truly magical.

In my role, I’m responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children in my care. I plan and implement activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development. Whether it’s arts and crafts, storytime, or outdoor play, I strive to provide a well-rounded experience that fosters their curiosity and creativity.

I also work closely with parents at the nursery, to provide updates on their child’s progress and offer support and resources as needed. Building strong relationships with the families of the children in my care is an important part of my job, and I take great pride in being a trusted and supportive figure in their lives.


Of course, working with young children also comes with its fair share of challenges however, they can also be opportunities for growth and learning.

Being a nursery worker is more than just a job—it’s a calling. I feel privileged to be a part of these children’s lives during such pivotal years of their development, and I approach each day with enthusiasm and dedication. It’s a joy to be able to play a role in shaping the future generation, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

After my years of experience, working for a nursery team, I have decided that I would like to work close with a family, Monday to Friday (full time). I would also be flexible in staying for babysitting.
