About Me
I have always loved children. From the age of 15 I’ve involved myself with children, from babysitting locals kids, to volunteering at my old primary school. I even studied psychology with counselling in university as I was determined to become a child therapist.
I think kids are so important. From how smart and innocent they are, to making sure it’s important that they know they can be and do anything they put their mind to. To helping them heal from past traumas and just helping with child development; I want to be a part of all of it.
I usually work full time 8:00am - 4:00pm In a primary school. As the Summer holidays are approaching I really wanted to keep myself busy, and youthful by getting back into nannying for the summer, and even possibly for after work during terms times.
I offer full time nannying services (during the holidays and half terms) and part time (from 4:30pm onwards Monday - Friday)during term time. I'm big on child development, I am able to assist with homework and revision. I cook a little bit, clean and play! i'm very organised, a little firm when needed, but really bubbly, fun, creative and imaginative.
My Experience
I’ve got plenty of years experience in childcare. I’ve been a babysitter since the age of 15, for my local neighbours. I’ve worked with children from the age of new borns right up to the age of 12. I’ve also had some experience in my old primary school, where I would volunteer on my days off, just helping out as an teaching assistant. Official experience I’ve had is as a live out nanny, for a lovely family for a year, through an agency called Koru Kids. I Worked a 3 month owmcment in a secondary school as an SEN TA, doing 1-1 mentoring and assiting class teachers. Now, I’m currently working within a primary school in Leyton.
My Qualifications
I Have no educational qualifications specific to nannying. i have a-b grades in English maths and science from GCSEs, and my sixth form grades. I am first aid trained, and have safeguarding training also.
I have an up to date DBS.
