About me:
My name is kaylie, I moved here from mid wales in 2020. my whole career has been working with young children. I’ve got qualifications a plenty up to degree level.
Settling in:
I offer as much settling in time as you need. You are welcome to join us until you feel ready to leave. The first few weeks can be a difficult adjustment period for you and your wee one but rest assured all tenderness and proactive care to ease this transition will be applied.
Keeping in touch
Daily photos and updates sent to you throughout your child’s stay is one of the ways in which to keep open communication of how your child is doing throughout the day. If for any reason you prefer something done differently for your child or have any concerns or complaints, please don’t hesitate to contact me so we can work together in bettering your child’s well-being while in my care.
What we do here:
EVERYTHING! We attend forest school, playgroups, gymnastics, we meet up with other child minders. We visit the woods, beaches, soft play, museums, the cinema, soft play, mountain climbing, parks. We do lots of messy and creative play.
Travel
I have a 7 seater car that is fitted with axkidd one car seats. These are the safest car seats available. All pre school children will be rear facing. If we travel by train or bus (very exciting) I will seek extra permission from you.
Hours of Operation
I’m open Monday to Friday 7:30-5:30, 49 weeks of the year. I charge £6.50 per hour. This price includes nappies, wipes, snacks and meals. Also, our MANY outings.
My Experience
i have worked in childcare and children's services for 15 years. i have always been passionate and ambitious about furthering children's development through the use of outdoor learning and loose parts. i am always studying and furthering my practise and education in someway and i have a wealth of qualifications and experience. i have mainly worked in Nurseries.

BA in working with children and families.
Level 4 - ELKLAN- communication friendly settings.
Level 3- counselling skills
Level 3- Elklan in Supporting Language and Learning for 3-5s
Level 3- Cache in Health and Social Care
Level 3- Cache in Childcare and Education
Level 3 - Cache setting up a home-based childcare setting.

My Availability
i have been a working parent for 13 years using childminders and nurseries. So i had clear views on what i wanted to offer.
i offer 24 hour child care so i can arrange start and finish times to suit your work needs.
i also offer ADHOC, evening, overnight and weekend care, so should you need to go out or away ever that is available as an option.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
£6.50per hour per child.
My Local Schools
