My Summary

My Experience

I have just over 4 years of experience working as a nanny and I currently work as a part time nanny during term time and full time during school holidays I look after a 5 and 7 year old my duties include picking them up from school, making them a snack before making dinner and loading or emptying the dishwasher, I do bath and bed time and then sort out their school bags and fill their water bottles and have them packed and ready for the next day and during school holidays I make them lunch and dinner, take them out to museums and parks and take them for haircuts, I reorganise their clothes and help them with school home learning activities/packs.
My previous nanny role was 3 days a week as an after school nanny in which I would pick them up from school and take them home during that time I would assist with homework if needed and do some ironing or empty the dishwasher. I would also babysit in the evening when needed I worked with the family for 11 months and I constantly look after children for family and friends.
I did work as a full time SEN nanny for a private family for nearly 2 years in which I was looking after 3 kids ages from 1, 3 and 6. This role was a mixed of shared and sole. The role included playing and educating them, cooking simple meals for them which was a shared role with the mom as the younger children had food allergies and I would assist them with eating while also encouraging self feeding and I would give them a bath and put them to bed. I would also help with any homework on a 1.1 basis and plan activities for the day, I also helped the mum with setting a routine with the middle child as she has adhd and worked to help her in difficult situations and I helped the younger 2 with potty training, weening and speech and reading.
I worked as an after school SEN part time nanny for another private family looking after their 6 year old son which I did for 5 months as the role was temporary and helped out in the school holidays and as their son has adhd I helped set routines and boundaries, helped with homework and reading, and planned activities inside and outside the home and prepped dinner and assisted with bed time.

My Qualifications

I have recently completed a level 2 childcare course in caring for children and young people.

My Availability

I’m free Monday to Friday full time or part time. I’m free on weekends and available full time or part time during school holidays and for any adhoc babysitting

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)

£15 - £16 P/H
