My Requirements

The Role
This is a hybrid role focusing primarily on housekeeping and organization, with specific childcare duties on Thursdays. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a home in an "optimal state"—organized, tidy, and calm.

Schedule (approx. 10-12 hours per week):
Thursday (8 hours): Full day involving housekeeping, dog walking, and after-school care.
This is a nice to have if possible - Friday/Monday (Flexible, approx. 2-4 hours): Dedicated housekeeping time only (no childcare required). We are flexible on the specific hours for Friday/Monday.

Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Home Organization (Thursday & Friday):
General Tidying: Proactive organizing of communal areas, playrooms, and bedrooms to ensure the house is neat and clutter-free.
Laundry & Ironing: Managing the family laundry cycle, including washing, hanging, folding, and ironing.
Deep Cleaning/Upkeep: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in key areas (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.). This is only needed occasionally as we have a cleaner already.
Pet Care: Walking the family dog on Thursdays.
Childcare (Thursdays Only):
School Pick-up: Walking to the local school (approx. 15-minute walk each way) to collect the children.
Meal Prep: Preparing healthy, simple dinners for the children.
Supervision: Overseeing the children after school until the parents finish work.

Requirements
Proactive Nature: You must be a self-starter who enjoys organizing and can anticipate the needs of a busy family.
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, nannying, or family assistance is preferred.
Animal Lover: We have pets, so being comfortable around dogs and animals is a must.
Reliable: Punctuality and dependability are key.
Physical Activity: Must be happy to walk 15 minutes to school and walk the dog regardless of the weather.
