I am a 25-year-old, kind, caring, and experienced childcare professional based in Dawlish. I am passionate about supporting children’s development and well-being and pride myself on being considerate, reliable, and nurturing in my approach.
I hold a BA degree in Primary Education from Plymouth Marjon University and have recently completed my Postgraduate Degree in Early Years Initial Teacher Training, qualifying me as an Early Years Teacher. I bring a wide range of hands-on experience, including working in schools, nurseries, and as an after-school play worker. In addition, being the eldest of four siblings—my youngest sibling is eight —has given me strong practical experience in caring for children of different ages.
In the summer of 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to work at an American summer camp. During this time, I was a general counsellor responsible for ten girls aged seven. For seven weeks, I supported their daily routines, emotional well-being, and activities—essentially acting as a “camp mum.” This experience allowed me to gain invaluable life lessons, build lifelong friendships, and immerse myself in a new culture while ensuring the children had a safe, fun, and memorable summer.
I currently work full-time, Monday to Friday, in a day-care setting as a Well-Being and Family Support Lead. I absolutely love my role and am deeply committed to working closely with children and families to support positive outcomes.
I hold a full, clean UK driving licence, an up-to-date DBS check, and a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid certificate. I am now seeking a full-time nannying position where I can bring my skills, experience, and enthusiasm into a family setting.
Alongside my professional qualifications, I continue to develop my knowledge independently. I have completed courses in Mental Health (May 2022) and Mental Health and Well-being for Children (April 2021), and I am keen to pursue further professional development in the future.

My Experience
I have a broad range of experience working with children from infancy through to early adolescence across a variety of childcare and educational settings.
I have worked as an after-school play worker supporting children aged 5–11, where I planned and facilitated engaging activities, ensured children’s safety, and promoted positive social interactions in a fun and structured environment.
My experience in primary school settings with children aged 5–11 has allowed me to support learning, behaviour, and emotional development both in and out of the classroom, while working closely with teachers and staff.
I have also worked as a babysitter for family and friends, caring for children aged 0–14. This role involved providing one-to-one care, supporting daily routines, ensuring safety, and meeting each child’s individual needs within a home environment.
In addition, I have experience working in nurseries with children aged 0–5, where I supported early learning, play-based development, personal care routines, and children’s emotional well-being.
I also worked as a camp counsellor, where I was responsible for the care, safety, and well-being of a group of children in a residential setting. This role required strong organisation, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment.
