I worked for over 20 years as a Foster Carer and am now looking for work as a Nanny/Housekeeper.
My Experience
I am a highly qualified, award winning, trustworthy, professional, attentive and well acclaimed Foster Carer. Over the past 23 years, I have fostered 58 children and prepared most of them for new and fulfilling lives with Adoptive Parents. During this period, I fostered a girl who was 10 years old when she came into my Care and left, aged 18, having won an award for Outstanding Achievement for a child who grew up in Foster Care. During these Placements, I have cared for children from varied backgrounds and ages, the youngest being 6 months old and 3 siblings at a time. In order to meet the needs of the children in my care, I have attended a number of career-related personalised courses. I have excellent communication skills from liaising with specialist professionals such as GPS, teachers, social workers, solicitors, guardians, vetting and preparing prospective Adoptive Parents for their new role of parenthood. Life as a Foster Carer is 24/7 role, which is very demanding and challenging. In addition to being a Foster Carer, I also split my time, love and care into bringing up my own daughter and supporting my family.
