Me and my partner Jake have a blended family, my 8 year old daughter, his 4 year old son and our 9 month old girl.
My eldest daughter is SEN and attends school.
My partners son doesn't live with us but visits regularly, is due to start school in September and is currently going through SEN assessments.
Our shared 9 month old daughter is going to be needing childcare for my return to work in September. She is extremely attached to me and although I work from home, the requirements for my role unfortunately do not suit her staying home with me. She is a loving, happy little girl once comfortable with the person and a little explorer. She was a tiny baby and birth and is still a little dot for her age, but do not let her size fool you, she will find a way to climb on everything! Singing fixes everything, doesnt matter the situation if you sing to her she will listen intently!
My Requirements
I am due to go back to work in September and need a child minder for my 9 month old baby girl (will be 10 months by then). She has severe separation anxiety which makes me very nervous about leaving her, so am I hoping to get her familiar with the person beforehand to make her, myself and the care provider more comfortable.
She is a tiny baby, loves to explore and climb, must taste test everything! She is a very sweet, smiley and giggly once she is comfortable with the person. She still has frequent naps throughout the day, but will fight to stay awake no matter how tired she is. Loves cuddles and will stroke and squeeze your arm/hands/hair/cheeks/clothing to soothe herself but will hates her hands being touched otherwise. She loves songs being sang to her and will stop what she's doing to listen to you, could be having an absolute crying fit but music fixes everything. She loves to dance with people or bounce along to the music holding onto the furniture.
She prefers a calm environment and doesn't like loud noises. She has an older sister, and an older brother who doesn't live with us. Both have ADHD and autism so there is a chance baby could end up having it too so I am hoping for soneone that is able to recognise the signs/symptoms if they begin to present themselves.
I am looking for 5 days a week during school hours using the 30 hour funded care.
