Hello! I'm a 22 year old living in the centre of Brighton. I'm a fine art photographer and I also really enjoy working with children of all ages. As an older sibling of twins I am naturally very family oriented and responsible.
I'm a kind, patient, gentle, organised, creative and trustworthy person. I can work around last minute plans as well as long as it is within my hours! My attendance has always been great and you can trust that I will always be on time.
I have always had a huge passion for photography and anything arty, continuing this after education by working freelance. I would love to incorporate arts and crafts into activities to do with your children as well as play and most importantly activities catering to each families needs.
I have good interpersonal skills. I get on well with a wide variety of ages through working with children and adults.
I have a Level 3 First Aid certification for children and adults.
I have an enhanced DBS check which is verified.

My Experience
My main experience working with children comes through working as a Team Leader on NCS (The National Citizenship Service) in 2021 and 2022, which is a personal and social development programme for 15-17 year olds. I work closely mentoring groups of 15 young people for 2-4 weeks where we do team building and various physical activities while also teaching life skills. This includes going on a residential trip. I am responsible for supervising, supporting and motivating the young people and guiding them to recognise their strengths and talents and identify how they've developed as a team and as individuals by the end.
I myself took part in NCS as a young person so I know how meaningful it is to deliver a good quality program and the importance of building individual relationships and the kindness and care that goes into it.
Babysitting is something I've done since I was quite young so it is familiar to me. I've also grown up as an older sibling of twins so being around other children is second nature to me! I believe I relate well to children of all personalities and I can communicate especially well with quieter children I was shy as a child myself.
Through apps like these I have also gained experience nannying and babysitting, short and longer term for children of varying ages, mainly between 5 and 10.
In the past I have run special effects makeup classes in secondary schools and PE sessions as an after school clubs with ages 12-17. I have also done face painting at kid's birthday parties with younger children ages 4-12.
