About Me
Hi, I’m Ifo, an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Leeds (LS10). I offer a warm, nurturing, home-from-home setting where children of all ages — from babies to school-aged children — feel safe, cared for, and valued.
Little ones are supported through gentle routines, play, and early learning, while older children enjoy a relaxed after-school environment with help available for homework, reading, and learning when needed. My aim is to support each child in a way that suits them, whether that’s settling a baby into their day or giving an older child space to unwind after school.
Our setting is guided by Christian values such as kindness, respect, and care for others, and we warmly welcome families from all backgrounds. I work closely with parents to provide reliable, loving care that supports children’s confidence, wellbeing, and development at every stage.
Most importantly, I want children to feel happy coming here — and parents to feel reassured knowing their child is in safe, trusted hands.
My Experience
I am a warm, caring childminder based in Leeds, recently relocated and excited to build strong relationships with local families. I have experience caring for children from newborn age through to pre-teens, and I pride myself on offering a safe, loving, and stimulating home-from-home environment where children feel happy, settled, and confident to be themselves.
My approach to childcare is rooted in kindness, patience, and understanding. As a faith-based setting with Christian values, we promote positive values such as respect, empathy, honesty, and care for others in a natural and inclusive way, while welcoming families from all backgrounds. Children are encouraged to grow not only academically, but emotionally and socially too.
Days are filled with purposeful play, creativity, stories, music, outdoor fun, and hands-on learning, all tailored to each child’s individual stage of development and interests. I support children’s early learning using the EYFS framework, helping them build strong foundations in communication, literacy, numeracy, and confidence through everyday activities and play.
For older children, I also offer after-school care in a relaxed and supportive environment. This includes help with homework, reading, phonics, spelling, writing, and maths, as well as time to unwind after a busy school day. Evening care is available, making life a little easier for working parents.
Above all, my goal is to provide childcare that feels safe, nurturing, and fun — a place where children are supported, encouraged, and truly cared for, and where parents can feel confident knowing their child is in loving hands.
