** Learn N’ Play Childminding – Alford**

Hello, my name is Lucie, and I run Learn N’ Play Childminding in Alford.

I am a qualified early years practitioner with an SVQ Level 3 in Childcare, working as a registered childminder, and I am currently studying towards a BA (Hons) in Childcare. I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development and delivering high-quality early learning experiences.

My setting is fully focused on children aged 0–5 years. I am very passionate about the early years, outdoor learning, creative play, crafts, and meaningful activities that support children’s development during these crucial years.

I currently have school-age children in my care; however, I am no longer accepting new school-age placements. This allows me to dedicate my time, environment, and planning primarily to the needs of younger children.

At Learn N’ Play, children are supported through:

* Play-based learning

* Outdoor learning and local outings

* Creative activities and crafts

* Child-led exploration

At Learn N’ Play, children are supported through a thoughtful combination of child-led play and practitioner-guided experiences, where children’s interests guide learning and carefully planned suggestions extend skills, curiosity, and engagement.

We spend as much time outdoors as possible, explore our local community & Aberdeenshire and enjoy hands-on activities that encourage curiosity, confidence, and independence. Indoors, children are supported in a calm, home-from-home environment where their interests guide learning.

I work closely with families to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and supported as an individual.
