Hi I’m Katie, I am an engaging, creative, caring and fun 26 year old childcare professional with 8 years experience in different childcare settings with children from 3-months to 18 years. Currently working as a sole charge, full time Nanny for a lovely,busy local family (B8 B6 G3). Undertaking daily tasks, such as the school run, cooking healthy nutritious meals/ packed lunches and providing a range of engaging, fun and educational activities including swimming weekly. Additionally I also love being outside exploring and enabling the children to experience all of the wonderful things the world has to offer.
Looking for a full time live out position from sep-23 as my currently family are reducing hours when little one goes to nursery.
I am committed to ensuring great communication and a bond with both the parents, children and extended members of the family that I become a part of. My experience in previous work has enabled me to have the skills to support all children with their different needs, becoming their friend and supporting them which in turn enables them to be happy, healthy, confident and to flourish into wonderful little people.
My Experience
Over my 8+ years of working with children in a variety of different settings such as a nursery, nannying and schools both mainstream and Sen. As a full time Nanny and room leader in a nursery
I have encountered lots of different children and family situations which have shaped me into a flexible, organised and quick thinking worker. During this time I have also gained a great all round skill set that I feel would hopefully enable me to become a well integrated and positive addition to your family unit.
During the day we do lots of fun activities such as toddler group, swimming, nature walks and engaging,educational activities. I love arts and crafts, getting messy both inside and out. Exploring nature and all that the world has to offer.
My Qualifications
National diploma level three in childcare and learning development.
DSB checked 2013-present.
Food safety and hygiene.
Pediatric first aid trained.
Ofstead registered
Nanny insurgence
Clean driver's license.
Baby sign/Makaton.
Knowledge on the EYFS and current curriculum.
