About Me

An efficient and highly motivated individual with a natural responsible and caring attitude. A team player with excellent communication skills and qualified up to level 3 in childcare and positive parenting programme [Triple p]. Currently I am a fulltime mum with three young children between the ages of 12yrs, 13yrs and 18yrs old. At the present I am working as a bank staff Nursery practitioner in the early rise nursery. With a passion for child development and have geared my studies and work experience to enable me to continue my career in this sector. Through my recent studies childcare level 2 and 3 diplomas in childcare I am able to keep up-to-date with developments in Early Years Care and Education. Also, I feel comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment and possess a proven ability to ensure that standards; policies and communications are understood and implemented correctly.

My Experience

I was working in the Sparkles Day nursery as a nursery practitioner and my duty was
• To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met.

• To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life.


• Support all staff and engage in a good staff team.

• To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs.


• To advise manager/deputy of any concerns, e.g. over children, parents, the safety of the environment, preserving confidentiality as necessary.

• To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, summer etc


• To be flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other responsible duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc.

• To read, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures relevant to your role and the safe running of the setting.
• To develop your role within the team, especially with regard to being a key person

• To support nursery assistants, students and volunteers.
• To ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
To Observations key children using the tapestry and paper observations as well.
• Do the risk assessment indoor and outdoor/ check the temperature
• Planning every week with the member of staff
