Hi, I'm Rachel, I have two boys aged 4y and 16m. We live in Shaw, Newbury.
My Requirements
I'm due to have shoulder surgery in mid Sept 2025 and looking for ‘mother’s help’ / part time nanny for around 4-6 weeks whilst I will be in a sling and unable to drive or lift children. Exact details negotiable but roughly:
Wednesdays and Fridays - full day roughly 8.00- 5.00. Help with breakfast, dressing and school drop off for older son. Help with basic household tasks (eg laundry, loading dishwasher etc) Then I’d like to spend time with 16m son on these days but won’t initially be able to lift him or drive so I’d like some company to drive us to a morning activity and then be on hand to help lift him and do nappy changes etc as needed. He typically has a lunchtime nap at home. Then pick-up older son again at 3 and be on hand to help play/prepare a snack until Dad finishes work at 5ish. We can discuss whether car use is ours or yours, open to both and we have spare car seats.
