About Me
Hi! I’m a languages teacher living in Islington with plenty of childcare experience. I’m a big fan of sport, playing netball to a high level and exercising regularly be it running, swimming or going to the gym. I also love to read and go to the theatre as well as enjoying exhibitions at galleries and museums in London. I’m a confident and responsible person with a positive and hard working attitude.
My Experience
I teach languages to children aged 11-16 in a secondary school in London and have experience working with a range of special educational needs and disabilites and children of all different temperaments. I tutored online for students during the coronavirus pandemic. I have a variety of resources and am confident preparing students for examinations as well as providing support for the usual school studies. I have also nannied and babysat for different families for nearly 10 years both in the evenings and during the daytime in school holidays. I am adept at coming up with a variety of activities to suit a range of interests and ages. I am extremely responsible, conscientious and confident looking after children.
My Qualifications
I have 9A*s and 2As at GCSE (English Lit, English Lang, Maths, 3 science, French, German, History, RE, Textiles).
I have 3 As at A-Level (French, German, Philosophy) and a B at English Lit AS-Level.
I received a 2:1 in my French and Italian degree from University of Exeter.
I am in my first year of full-time teaching on the Teach First programme working towards my QTS and PGDE.
My Availability
I am available on weekday evenings and at weekends. I am also available during the daytime during the school holidays.
