My Experience

Childcare is a huge passion of mine and is all I know. I have 12 years worth of early years experience working in Day Nurseries and Primary Schools. 9 Years worth of my childcare experience have been within management roles. My most recent role as a Nursery Manager within a primary school nursery. I have also been Deputy Manager, Room Managers and Leaders.

I have also been an Early Years SENCO for 4 Years. I am qualified to support children with Speech and Language delay from the ages 3-5 as I am an Elklan Accredited Practitioner. I have gained many Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP) and supported many children who have a diagnosis of Autism and supported many children in gaining a diagnosis. On top of this I have supported many children with Global Development Delay and have worked closely with local authorities to gain SENIF Funding in order to provide supportive resources or 1:1 support.

The passion has always been within the Early Years sector working with children under the age of 5. After leaving school at 16 I landed my first ever job in a Day Nursery gaining my Level 2 and Level 3 in childcare. As time went on I decided to complete my certificate of Higher Education with the Open University. During my years of experience working within the Early Years I have worked closely with SEN Advisors, Social Communication Difficulty and Autism Experts and local authority SEN Advisors.

My Qualifications

I qualified Level 2, Level 3 in childcare with a certificate of higher education in Early Years obtained through open university equivelent to Level 4.

I am qualified to support children 3-5 with Speech and Language Delay through elklan accreditation.

I have completed many SEN CPDS Including the role of an early years senco, autism awareness, Global Development Delay,Understanding ADHD, Good Practice in Autism Education, Sensory Processing Disorders, Understanding Dyslexia, Supporting Positive Behaviour, Developmental Trauma and The Impact COVID has had on Social Communication Difficulties.

I believe in gentle parenting and a montessori approach!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

Negotiable dependent on hours and days.
