My Experience

I have worked in a very successful, outstanding nursery for 9 years where I started as an apprentice and worked my way up becoming Second in Charge and Baby Room Leader. My years of experience has allowed me to gain phenomenal knowledge and expertise in sleep training, the importance of routines, risky play and potty training etc. I ran my room making sure the children are paramount organising fun and enriching experiences through play and the local environment. I believe the best way for children to learn is through play. I love setting up real life experiences for children e.g. pretend car washes, using real tools, going on public transport and baking etc. All children should be able to experience fun, stimulating activities they may not necessarily get from a busy Homelife.
I have Nannied for many families in long term positions. I have also been an emergency nanny for multiple families which I loved as every family has different expectations and ways they want their children to be looked after and learn.
I have done babysitting for many families, sometimes requiring me to stay over night.
Sadly I have had to stop caring for the family I used to nanny for full time due to leaving to have my own baby.
I am open to add hoc/baby sitting work so if you’re at a loose end please feel free to reach out and I’d be happy to help.
