About Me
Hello! My name is Rebecca, I am a CIW registered childminder and operate as Woodland Childcare South Wales.
I live in Abercynon with my husband Jay and daughters Millie, Olivia and Evelyn.
We are a non smoking and no pet household. We have two fully equipped playrooms, large kitchen and garden available to the children.
I provide a home from home setting which is a safe, happy and nurturing environment. I will ensure each child’s individual needs are met, and to provide excellent learning opportunities through play and experiences. I will always work in partnership with parents to support routines, the child’s development, and overall wellbeing.
I have a full DBS check, level 3 paediatric first aid training, safeguarding training and a level 2 in food safety. I am also a member of Pacey.
My Experience
I have worked in a private day nursery as well as working as a nanny prior to having my children. However I feel the best experience comes from being a mum myself.
My Qualifications
DBS Check
Level 3 in Introduction to home based childcare and preparing for practice.
Level 3 paediatric first aid training
Level 3 safeguarding training
Level 2 in food safety.
My Availability
I am available Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm.
I can offer wrap around care for Abercynon community primary school.
I also provide babysitting within a 5mile radius of Abercynon, available evenings and weekends.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
I charge £5.50ph for babies and toddlers including snack and playgroup entry.
Wrap around care for school age children is charged at £8 before school including breakfast, and £15 after school including snacks.
Babysitting is £11ph.
